Wednesday classes
The younger children of the Salem Creek family have classes that allow them to interact, have fun, and learn about God, but so do the ‘older’ members of our family. From high school students, to college students, and on up, several class options are available. The ladies meet together to develop Godliness in their lives, the men have their own class, and of course a more general-audience class meets in the auditorium.
Sunday Classes
Children’s Classes
What would Bible classes be if it weren’t for the youngest of our family? The teachers of the Salem Creek family understand the importance of developing the minds of our children to become Godly citizens in our community. Several classes have been setup to ensure they are able to develop both friendships and great habits of growing in God.
Teens
The teens of today have so many options available to them, for good or… not so good! Along with these options come the responsibility of making choices. At Salem Creek, we work to provide our teens with the foundation and the framework to enable them to make Godly decisions as these opportunities present themselves. With a foundation based on Biblical principles, our teens will be much better armed to take on the challenges they face.
College Class
Our college class studies a variety of topics within the course of a year. Over the past year the class has studied the book of Esther, the spiritual disciplines, atheism, and practical evangelism. The purpose of the class is to help our college students face the challenges of early adulthood with Christ-likness. Topics change based on the material and discussion presented but all themes are designed to strengthen our young men and women at one of the most pivotal times in life.
Young Adult Class
Our young adult / slightly older adult class is studying the book of Job, and looking at Job's difficulties in life and his responses to those challenges are relevant to us today.
Adult Class I
One of our adult classes is studying the Gospel Advocate Heritage of Faith series, “Trouble in Numbers" during the fall quarter. This lesson series looks at Moses' leadership while the Israelites wandered in the wilderness, some of the many challenges he faced, and how we can continue to obey God's will in spite of such challenges.
Adult Class II
A second adult class is studying the Gospel Advocate Heritage of Faith series, “Trouble in Numbers" during the fall quarter. This lesson series looks at Moses' leadership while the Israelites wandered in the wilderness, some of the many challenges he faced, and how we can continue to obey God's will in spite of such challenges.
Auditorium class
The auditorium class is studying "The Cross" and the implications, the glories, the purpose, and the necessity of our Savior's death on that cruel cross. The many facets The Cross are truly amazing, and we hope you'll come study with us as we learn about that terrible, yet wonderful, event.
