The youth group of Salem Creek is for anyone in grades 7-12. We have students from all over Murfreesboro and surrounding areas so you may already know some of us! We hold at least one retreat per year as well as attend conferences and camps held by Christian Universities and organizations. We also participate in an annual mission trip to host Vacation Bible School, meet and teach local families, and simply spread the gospel in other areas. Most recent mission trips have included travel to Nicaragua and Jamaica, and plans are in the works for continuing these trips each year – either to foreign countries, or to cities here in our own country!
Back here at home, throughout the rest of the year, we make visits to our elderly and hold group devotionals on a monthly basis during the school year and a weekly basis during the summer. We offer middle and high school classes that are ensured to meet the spiritual needs of all those who attend. We also spend time learning how to serve in the church according to Biblical standards through Bible classes on Sunday mornings and special classes for boys and girls on Wednesday night.
